Under the administrative oversight of the Manager of Project Management at PerformRx, the Project Manager I will be responsible for the development of project plans, documentation, and all activities related to smaller scale projects within PerformRx in accordance with Project Management Institute and industry best practices. The successful candidate will leverage project management experience, influence, communication and negotiation based on well-established stakeholder management abilities and strong collaborative working relationships. The incumbent will lead project teams including cross-functional subject-matter experts across PerformRx, internal and external client accounts, external vendors for change management and small scale, single stream projects. The Project Manager I will own multiple projects at any given time and be required to drive the projects to completion remaining on schedule and within scope. The incumbent will support as assigned, the Project Manager for large scale multi-work stream projects as necessary.
* Ensure projects are completed on time and in scope. * Report to Manager of Project Management and supports Project Managers as assigned. * Track the progress of the implementation through a project plan, managing calls with all stakeholders including maintaining all documentation ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the project. * Develop a comprehensive project plan for Part D, Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid New Business Implementations and other projects as necessary. * Provide subject-matter expertise in areas including project scope definition, risk identification, project methodology, resource allocation, facilitation, and other areas of expertise based on established project management techniques. * Identify and communicate issues, risks, and status to propose solutions, drive decisions and manage stakeholder expectations. Escalates to proper management as necessary. * Make presentations to management on project updates, project cycle, and expected results. * Lead and motivate teams and cross functional business leaders to execute multiple projects in the various stages of a project life cycle. * Lead the development of proposed project scope, delivery schedules and interdependencies mapping. Drive delivery related to all aspects of assigned projects. * Collaborate with business owners, clinical staff, and other stakeholders to ensure inputs, processes, and outputs are captured and maintained for effective implementation. * Define/manage Project Scope by leading the change management processes to drive effective project execution (e.g., launch, deployment, revisions, change control) and raise awareness when misalignment or misunderstanding of scope with stakeholders. * Manage/control Project Timelines and Tesources: can forecast variances and trends throughout the project lifecycle to ensure project resources are met and be able to ensure a seamless transitions from project implementation to business * Manage/Control Project Financials by projecting budgets and forecasts, obtaining approvals from key stakeholders * Manage Project Quality by ensuring that all project deliverables are in compliance with all applicable standards and regulations (e.g.,CMS) and able to conduct analysis on project outcomes to make appropriate recommendations to improve project * Review project documents to ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness. * Ability to analyze the future impact of decisions by taking a big-picture approach, to strategically position the project within the business to relate to short and long term objectives. * Identify, analyze and prioritize issues to develop and execute mitigation plans. * Control and implement a process of change when needed, document and track issues, monitor assumptions and make decisions in a timely manner, understand and use problem solving techniques. * Coordinate, implement, test and deliver a project in order to produce an effective working system/product. * Collaborate with internal customers to deliver agreed upon requirements, through the timely and accurate documentation and effective management of partners to meet key deliverables. * Participate and lead client calls and kick off meetings * Travel as needed
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience * Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) preferred or equivalent experience * Certificate of Project Management required * Six Sigma Certification preferred * Advanced level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook) required * Minimum one (1) year of Project Management, Healthcare, Medicare, Medicaid and PBM experience * Working knowledge of Project Schedules in Microsoft Project * Working knowledge of IRRAID (Issues, Risks, Action Items, Decision) logs for tracking * Professional Experience with risk notification and status reporting
