PHARMACEUTICAL LAB SYSTEMS ENGINEER DEVENS, MA Project Description The Laboratory Systems Engineer will provide support for benchtop laboratory instrument computers and local support for enterprise systems. The goal is to ensure reliable 247 operation for the laboratory. As part of a regulated industry proper documentation and adherence to company policies and procedures is required. Required Skills A successful candidate will possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science, Engineering, Science or equivalent field with at least 3 years of experience preferably in the pharmaceuticalBiotechnology industry. Experience and knowledge of GMP regulations, 21CFR Part 11, and computer system validation is required. Ability to build out a PC to specification, apply a Client image, and modify Windows 7 10 PCs configuration to align with Client standards and vendor instrument requirements. A successful candidate will possess Skills and experience working in diverse, multi-disciplined work groups. Experience andor substantial understanding of Lab system principles and common system vendors' available products. Experience with automated laboratory systems and technology. Ability to work in a diverse work environment, and manage multiple priorities, and at times, be self-directed in a fast paced environment. A successful candidate will have knowledge of laboratory software technologies. Preferred candidates are hands-on individual that are willing to take initiative. Experience with HPALM, Lab Execution System (SmartLab), Empower, Acronis andor NuGenesis would be beneficial. Excellent written and communication skills are required. This 4 month position starts ASAP.
