Ajilon is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for our client located in the Newark, New Jersey area. This is well known company is seeking an employee on a long-term temporary basis. The ideal candidate for this position has hazmat and incoterms knowledge and has the desire to help in the sales department and ensure orders are delivered in a timely manner. Estimating shipment costs and providing price quotes to customers
Entering purchase orders into the system and invoicing customers
Tracking shipments and ensuring orders are delivered on time
Maintaining inventory by placing orders with vendors and forecasting
Provide management with reports and administrative support as needed
Manage freight expense account through debits & credits
2+ years of Logistics experience
International Import experience preferred
Ideally has working knowledge of Hazmat requirements and Incoterms
Strong communication skills and previous customer service skills is required
Computer literate and savvy (Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Outlook)
SAGE 300 Experience is a plus
