POSITION SUMMARY: The Client Success Specialist is part of the Client Success Team and reports to the Client Success Manager. This position is responsible for serving the states of Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, and Minnesota. This position will provide the leadership necessary to manage, support and grow Agrian commercial relationships with new and existing accounts, locations and customers. The role has primary responsibility for supporting and training Agrian s enterprise precision software and hardware. The Client Success Specialist will work with targeted organizations to ensure they have a successful onboarding experience and will serve as the key customer contact essentially owning the success of the client. ESSENTIAL DUTIES INCLUDE: Lead demonstrations of Agrian software, Agrian use of data and technology toolsIdentify training needs and methods to grow use of Agrian field software and customer satisfactionAid the Client Success team in developing training materials for the purpose of channel educationPlan and lead software training and educational meetings (in-person and via webinars)Develop and document feature use-cases for new product development and/or enhancementsIdentify, summarize and communicate requirements for software and hardware solutionsConduct regular planning with key accounts to ensure the software is meeting their needsFoster the adoption of Agrian software, hardware and services to new and existing customersIdentify, analyze and prioritize enterprise account goals, product opportunities and innovative adoption conceptsPerform other related duties asassigned by Agrian management KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:Service Proficiency Own the relationship with and the success of every client.Utilize customer familiarity, industry and market knowledge to successfully present and demonstrate Agrian software to clientsAct with a sense of urgency to execute and implement strategies which positively impact adoption of the software and grower client usage of the softwareManage each customer interaction by clarifying goals and documenting the sequence of events required to realize use adoption Successfully follow and implement key Client Success Milestones and provide feedback to aid in the evolution of the metrics for Client SuccessSee tasks through to completion regardless of obstacles TechnicalExpertise Excellent understanding of the precision ag hardware and software industry as well as the current challenges faced by channel partnersExcellent knowledge of farming practices and agricultural equipment and electronicsAbility to effectively discuss business and industry opportunities with internal and external contactsDevelop a knowledge of Agrian s products on multiple levels external tools that will be used daily by the client and internal tools which may include account setup/modifications and troubleshooting Teamwork Lead and collaborate with other members of the Agrian team in project needs assessment, execution and satisfaction, as well as efficient adoption and training strategiesOrchestrate and communicate training activities and the efforts of needed parties in the driving of field data use process from inception to implementation with the Agrian teamCommunicate timely, accurate, and prioritized information regarding developments in feature upgrades or client improvement requestsAccurately track all customer interactions in CRM program which includes regularly updating and maintaining the CRM information Interpersonal Skills Ability to build appropriate rapport and establish constructive and effective relationships with peers, executives, and customers to meet business needsHigh level of personal integrity, confidentiality, and accountabilityAbility to adapt personal style, work methods and individual capabilities to contribute to business goalsExcellent planning, time management, communication, presentation and organizational skillsDesire to over serve the client while maintaining the core beliefs and vision of Agrian EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Post-secondary education (Bachelor s Degree preferred) in a related field such as Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, Farm Management, or Precision Agriculture. Minimum of 5-7 years experience in a combination of agronomy sales, training and/or precision agriculture field applications. Proven sales experience, knowledge of farming practices and equipment, knowledge of the principles and practices of soil fertility, fertilizer recommendations, site-specific agronomy and GIS systems/GPS technologies. CCA / PCA competency and license preferred WORK ENVIRONMENT: Expected Travel: extensive travel required, up to 75% overnight travel in busy seasons. In addition, the position will require occasional travel to industry events and trade shows. Physical Demands: During office hours, may be required to stand or sit in one location for extended periods. While in field, there may be some stooping and lifting or carrying of light material or equipment. Extensive driving will be required, especially during peak training and support periods. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Web browsers. Additional experience and/or expertise with commercial precision agricultural data software products and services would be highly beneficial. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: A valid US driver s license with a good driving record is required. CCA and Pesticide License preferred
