Job Summary

AECOM has an exciting new opportunity for a forward thinking, pro-active Field HR Leader. The successful candidate will be focused on providing leadership to a team of HR professionals focusing on HR program delivery and employee/manager relations issues. The leader is responsible for setting priorities for the team and working collaboratively with direct reports, COEs and other stakeholders to deliver. Must be a self-starter with change leadership skills to keep teams motivated and driving toward a common goal. The Leader will also be responsible for supporting a group of managers/staff in their respective business unit. Preferred location is in Philadelphia or New York City.

* Field HR is responsible for influencing, coaching and leading management in program delivery and change management

* Performance + rewards (training, support on goal setting, performance summaries, & calibration)

* Compensation planning (training managers on application of various aspects of the budget - equity, promotion, merit; providing guidance based on equity analysis)

* Engagement & Retention: Providing support to senior HR leadership in gathering information and identifying trends as to why people leave, participating in the creating and implementation of engagement plans which may include facilitating focus groups or sessions with managers on retaining their high potential talent

* Facilitation and/or implementation s of other programs including ICM, affirmative action, graduation development, new program rollouts (i.e. through the Talent COE), succession planning, etc.

* The other key focus area for Field HR is employee & manager relations:

* Coaching managers on performance and behavioural issues with staff which may result in creating of formal performance improvement plans and on the flip side, providing coaching on development plans and career planning for high potential s and strong performers

* Preparing for and conducting reductions in force/terminations

* Leading and/or participating in investigations in support of the compliance team

* Support Talent Acquisition and Resource Directors to ensure timely acquisition or redeployment of talent.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelors Degree plus 12 year of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications

Certification in relevant HR area preferred
